Capturing Form In Repetition
In Capturing Form in Repetition, I examined how repetition can transform a basic 3D form into a composition full of visual interest. I took a small pencil sketch and repeated it in a 3x3 grid to produce a design. The design helped me examine how similar forms can affect perception when placed in balance.
This project helped me understand how repetition is one of architecture’s most fundamental tools. It creates movement, harmony, and visual continuity. Through this study, I discovered how repeating the simplest element can produce impact, leading the eye through space and reinforcing architectural order. Capturing Form in Repetition reminded me that great design often emerges from mastering simplicity and rhythm.
