Landscape, Buildings, Trees

Landscape, Buildings, Trees was created while I attended an architectural design camp as a project to practice drawing natural and man-made objects through sketching. The project involved sketching seven trees, five buildings, and three landscape drawings. I sketched with a pencil to observe how different features in a sketch interact when they are organic and structural.

Personally, this project has helped me better identify balance and the value of relating architecture to its surroundings. I have understood that buildings are not created independently but as a unit within a larger context. Observing and analyzing this context has helped me develop more unified designs that relate to their environment.
